J.R. Group has a diversified business conglomerate with 4 generation family owned business which has been founded by Late Mr Jagdish Ram (J.R) Aggarwal , Chairman Late Mr Tarsemlal Gupta, Managing Director Mr Raman Gupta and Director Mr Anshul Gupta.

Trading of various metal scrap & machinery, and with a combined production capacity per annual 1,80,000 MT.

A green ship recycling yard situated in, Asia’s largest ship recycling yard Alang, was established in the year 1997 and later, expanded its activities by taking over Ghaziabad Ship Breakers Pvt. Ltd.

Late Mr Tarsemlal Gupta, founder of the Group had a humble beginning by acquiring license from GMB to recycle ships using the Plot No. 38. Among the conventional recyclers, he had the foresight and vision to be a differentiator in a forward looking manner by conducting the business on sound principles backed by a team of professionals with green initiatives in focus.

The group strongly believes in protecting the environment, and preventing all types of pollution, health and safety of workers. Ghaziabad Ship Recycling has virtually redefined the very concept of ship breaking globally by setting new standards for decommissioning ships in an eco-friendly and green way. As a company involved in ship-breaking, our focus is about protecting the environment and aiming to reduce pollution at the most. We strongly believe that unless ship decommissioning is carried out in a sustainable, eco-friendly manner, the activity will be self-condemning.

Since the establishment JR group, the group was able to find the values and concepts in business management, and has taken over the past decade a lot of prominent steps towards an unprecedented expansion.
