Our Founder and His Vision

Late Shri Tarsemlal Jagdish Ram Gupta Ji, a visionary and self-made entrepreneur, founded J R Group of Industries in 1990 with the acquisition of a sick rolling mill unit. With an unwavering commitment to quality, trust, and discipline, he transformed the group into a multi-faceted business house, laying a solid foundation that continues to guide the organisation.

Mr. Gupta Ji’s leadership was marked by strategic foresight and an entrepreneurial spirit. He continuously identified new opportunities and ventured into the ship recycling and sand casting industries. His deep knowledge of iron and steel manufacturing and solid ethical principles helped establish a culture of integrity and excellence within the organisation. Even today, his legacy inspires us to pursue growth while remaining true to our core values.

He believed in Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy of self-improvement and Jamshedji Tata's business strategies, which continue to shape our vision of creating a lasting impact for the next 100 years.
